One day at a time, one lesson at a time.
Next session starts Jan 22.
Group calls will happen mostly on Thursdays at noon PST, with two exceptions noted below. These calls will be recorded and the recordings shared around afterward, in case you miss them.

Each day of the week will have a slightly different theme:
It's a 30 day course, where you will get a new lesson every day for 30 days. The next session starts Jan 22, with the first live group call on Zoom.
Once the course begins, there will be a new pre-recorded video lesson available every day for 6 days a week, and then a live group call on Zoom with me, which will be recorded, on the 7th. There will also be a Discord group where you can chat and learn from your classmates as you go.
Any intermediate or advanced pianist is welcome. You should definitely know the basics of scales and chords, as there will be some harmony talk. There will also be music notation to help read transcriptions of solos, so you probably want some notation reading knowledge, even if it's a little slow going.
Most importantly, it's for musicians who want to take their music seriously. I've always found I make the biggest strides in moments of deep commitment — and that's what I'm trying to help you do as well.
The first welcome call with Kiefer is Jan 22. Day 1 is Jan 23.
No big deal. They will be recorded and shared with everyone about a day after they happen.
No problem. Obviously, our hope is that you'll keep up and do a lesson a day, but life happens. It's not a problem at all if you end up taking it at your own pace.
Yes.
Take a look at some of the other courses on my site, including go-at-your-own pace options.
